I do love it when a friend suggests a movie for me to watch. Basically, it makes for eclectic cinema viewing. You can sit down, relax and enjoy the show, without worrying about whether or not you made the right film choice or not. I thought you would enjoy my movie review ruby sparks and maybe you will decide to watch it after what I tell you…
You will soon find out that I love eclectic. The weird and the wonderful. Which is maybe why I REALLY enjoyed Ruby Sparks.

So, Ruby Sparks was indeed suggested by a friend. It is about a once successful author (Calvin), feeling a little lost in his life. He has no friends. No girlfriend and is finding it hard to write another successful novel. He does have a brother and he does have a psychiatrist. The psychiatrists encourages the Calvin to write about a dream of his where he meets his “perfect girl”. The perect girl, suddenly becomes real. You are not sure if the girl really is real or if the book is imaginary.. until Calvin’s brother comes along and they test what has happened. Calvin writes a paragraph about “what happens next with Ruby” and low and behold she does it. He stops writing about Ruby, because he loves her.. but as the relationship progresses… and small arguments begin to set in, Calvin cannot resist revisiting his book and starting to write about Ruby.. how he wants her to be.
So what do you think will happen next? Will it be a happy ending?
I love the Paul Dano (Calvin) and ADORE Zoe Kazan (Ruby). Paul has just enough geekiness but is still sort of cute and Zoe is adoringly quirky. I even recognised Antonio Banderas… whoop whoop me!
