Let me begin by saying, that this is a RATHER TRICKY REVIEW to write. Not because, it wasn’t simply AWESOME and FANTASTIC and THRILLING and BRILLIANT. But because it is ssssssh **secret**! Yes, it is so SECRET, that I am not REALLY allowed to tell you, well, anything. Except that it is, well, secret!
Confused yet? Want to know more?
Well…. Secret Cinema is a regular, London Based event (we can’t tell you where, as it is *secret* and because the venue changes from event to event). It is THEMED… there are different events, such as Back to The Future and on this occasion STAR WARS “The Empire Strikes Back”.
This is a super special screening of this iconic movie – it is exciting and interactive and a once in a life time experience. My husband took our son (it is recommended from 8yrs+) and they had the best night out ever. Before going, they got detailed instruction of what to wear and where to go. They were to be part of the show – you get dressed up and join in. My husband’s phone was sealed securely in a silver bag (because it is all so secret), so we don’t have our own photos of the event, but here are some lovely ones (photo credit below):

Yoda says in the film, “Adventure. Heh. Excitement. Heh. A Jedi craves not these things”, however not so my non-Jedi, STAR WARS loving, husband and son! They *adored* it. So, this was a super cool “Father & Son” activity for them to do with lots of “No, I am your father” antics! And I know that my son will cherish memories of this event forever.
You dress up.
You LIVE Star Wars for a few hours.
You watch the movie.
If you are a Star Wars fan, than this is a MUST SEE event. If you are NOT a Star Wars fan, I think it would still be a pretty cool experience (darn, why didn’t I SAY I would go?), but you also just need to check the listing – as the experiences change every few months and something else cool will be just around the corner!
SECRET CINEMA Presents STAR WARS: THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK is on now until 27th September 2015
